Queensland

New South Wales

Victoria

Western Australia

Rottnest Island just outside of Perth is a resort that many people choose because it is easy to get to from Perth yet provides the ultimate getaway. Once a strong army base, the left over barracks have been converted into an excellent hostel. One of the key attractions on the island is a boat trip on a vessel with a glass panels is the hull allowing you to see the marine life without all the hassle of scuba diving, however it offers many other activities and is a great place for any large group.

South Australia
SA is known for its wineries. Despite this, SA is the most urbanized state and its capital, Adelaide, is a gracious city. You can go on wine tasting tours in the surrounding valleys of Barossa and Coonawarra.

Tasmania
Here you will encounter many species of wild animals, such as Tasmanian devils, that can only be found in this part of the world. A boat trip is an excellent way to explore the many national parks.

Port Arthur is a must see destination. Built using convict labour, the small town set the example for the modern prison system. Many ghosts have been sighted here and you can have the opportunity to go on a guided ghost hunt.

Whichever the state you wish to visit you must not miss a trip to experience the native wildlife such as Kangaroos, Koala Bears, Tasmanian Devils and the many different snakes. You can see these animals in their natural habitats or at the many excellent zoos.
