Real Rugby Tours - Destination: Cananda

Canada

Our tours of Canada can be designed in a way that you travel around one area or you fly around some of the major destinations.

canadamapWherever you go, you must visit the huge numbers of National Parks, which will ensure that you are taken back by the breathtaking scenery.

British Columbia
Victoria is set in the beautiful protected harbor at the south end of Vancouver Island. Because it is situated on a peninsula which spurs out into the Pacific Ocean, it makes it an ideal place to start an expedition searching for whales.

Vancouver is set beautifully where the mountains meet the sea and for large parts of the year you can play golf, sail, swim and go skiing – all in the same day! The bigger two of these cities, it also has a very good nightlife and many schools and clubs meaning that it can offer all sorts of levels of rugby playing.

Ontario

Toronto, Canada’s biggest city, provides a great variety of activities. One of the suggested group excursions is going to see a Live Hockey Game at the Toronto Maple Leaf’s ground. We find that rugby players always take a liking to the game – perhaps it is because of the physicality of the game or maybe just because of the fights that break out!

Toronto is a short distance from Niagara Falls, the world renowned sight. Therefore you must include a day trip to visit them.

Toronto is also a short flight away from New York, meaning that you can easily combine a tour of Canada and USA.

Tips:

canada2Canada is a vast country, for the most part deserted. The main attractions are Vancouver and Victoria in British Columbia and Toronto in Ontario. We can tailor a tour which covers all these areas, however, the huge distances between the two will require an internal flight which can push the cost of the tour considerably. As such we recommend that you focus on visiting one of the destinations.

The country is separated in two parts. The east side speaks mainly English whereas the Westside speaks mainly French, so you may need to brush up on your French skills if you are visiting this part
