Real Rugby Tours- Destination:Italy

Italy

Where else can you enjoy good food, wine, sun, beaches and sights of untold beauty? A tour to Italy will allow you to do all of the above and will let you squeeze in some rugby as well.

Rome
Here you will be able to see endless historical buildings and art, such as the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and Vatican Palaces.

Rimini
Rimini is a seaside city that comes alive during the summer. It is renowned in Italy as the city that likes to party. The long, endless beaches will also allow you to enjoy the warm Adriatic sea.

Treviso and Venice
Treviso is the capital of Italian Rugby. All the strongest teams and most famous Italian players, like the Bergamasco brothers, come from this region. If it is a test that you are looking for, you need to visit this town. The town itself is only 30 minutes away from Venice. This location allows you to visit Venice without having to pay the high prices charged by hotels in the centre of Venice.

Italy can offer a great variety of activities but at the same time is very seasonal. We like to offer the tour which combines the best activities and sights depending on the season. We can create a tour that entails skiing in the Alps with visits to some of the country’s most famous sights.

Tips
It is advisable not to travel to Italy in August. This is due to the fact that during this month the country shuts down as most people go on holiday. As such, all the best tourist destinations are packed and maximum prices are charged meaning that it is very expensive to tour during these months. In addition to this, most shop, restaurants and businesses close the whole of August.
