Real Rugby Tours - Next Steps

If you already have firm dates for your tour and you want to see what we can offer, contact us for more information or a quote.

Alternatively if you are browsing and you are not quite sure about what to do, follow the steps below to help you get a clearer picture of what tour would be best suited for you.

What is your age group?
The age group is important to define the limitations of the tour group.

For example if you are planning for minors we would recommend that you tour only within the UK as it can be difficult for young children to stay away from home for long periods of time.

Similarly for children under 16 you may want to incorporate different activities to ones organized for adults. Some of the more extreme sports require you to have a minimum age of 16. We would therefore look to incorporate activities that would be suitable such as theme parks, go-karting aqua parks etc.

How much time and budget would you dedicate to touring?
Due to the long travelling times we would not recommend you to go to one of our long-haul destinations without having at least 18 days at your disposal.

Similarly if you are looking to do a short pre-season tour, then you may wish to only look at the UK.

We have set out the guidelines below for the minimum timeframe for each of our types of destinations below:

The budget per person is a very important factor in deciding where to go so we have also included a rough estimate of what a typical tour costs:

Please note, these prices are only to be used as guidance. They can vary depending on the duration of the tour and the number of activities and the type of accommodation used

Real Rugby ToursWhat is the primary objective of your tour?
Are you going for pre-season to warm up, and gel as a team or are you trying to go for an end of season relaxation period mixed with some rugby? If so the focuses are completely different:

For the former you may wish to allocate more training days and may include more games in the itinerary. You may also wish to select a destination where rugby is the main sport to ensure you have good competition throughout the tour.

If the latter option suits you more then you may wish to incorporate more activities and perhaps find locations which are more suited to providing a relaxed atmosphere.
